Hi, The fashion industry is changing very fast. For years, design departments worked the same way — specs, sketches, fittings, corrections, QC, overseas communication, repeat. Today, AI is starting to become part of that workflow whether people like it or not. In my opinion, the future technical designer will not be replaced by AI… But the designer who knows how to use AI properly will absolutely have an advantage and so will the company that they are with! I've been importing garments from Bangladesh and China for many years, and right now we are looking for someone strong in: Specs Technical sketches Fit/QC Overseas factory communication Product development Most importantly, we are looking for someone open-minded and adaptable to where this industry is going. The person does NOT need to be a “creative superstar.” What we need is somebody responsible, detail-oriented, technically strong, and willing to evolve with the business and LEARN new technology. We need this person to work in house and to be able to physically do QC work on the many samples we get, make comments etc! This position is very important to us.
